Cecilia Jane
Yoga Instructor
-
Cecilia is a yoga teacher based in Zürich, Switzerland and the founder of Studio Y3. In addition to her yoga training, Cecilia holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Her teaching style puts great emphasis on building strength, relieving tension, and guiding the mind towards stillness, to cultivate a deeper sense of embodiment. Her classes carefully link music to mindful movement and breath. With a background in Psychology, Cecilia recognizes that mindfulness and building a connection with yourself, through movement and breath, are essential for overall clarity and well-being.
She doesn't teach in Sanskrit, nor does she push you into postures that you might not feel comfortable with. The classes are adjusted according to who is in front of her, making the practice accessible to you, even if this is your first ever encounter with yoga. You will always find a combination of, Pranayama (breath), Pratyahara (sense withdrawal), Asanas (physical postures), and Dhyana (meditation) in her classes, in order for you to fully embark on the journey of the self.
